First off, DJ's are ok, but a band is really something special! Having decided to have a band play at our wedding we asked around and a number of friends recommended Redwings. Having not heard them previously we went along to one of their local gigs and absolutely loved the band, the songs and the atmosphere they create. I'm happy to say it was one of the best decisions we made and I can't recommend them highly enough. What an unbelievable day!... thank you Scott, Will, Rich & Ross, without a doubt you made the night and the wedding hard to beat

Redwings blew us away for loads of reasons!!  We could not have asked for better entertainment at our wedding. The music and the singing were totally fantastic - they sounded amazing and we were literally getting comments weeks later from our guests  about how great they were. Their sound shows how professional they are and the input they took onboard from us just says how much they cared about our day.

We had a relatively very small wedding, with an even smaller number of guests who were likely to be 'up there and dancing' so we wondered how any band could create a great atmosphere but the lads really did it. There was a fantastic range of music (old and new songs sounded amazing) and one of the things that was really touching was the input we had (our requests being played to perfection). There were a couple of our guests who gig all over the North East with their own band and they were wowed by the lads talent too.

Having such a small informal wedding wasn't a problem for the band- they really went with the flow of our day, even when they were held up a bit by the caterers at our venue. Our wedding was quite late in the day so by the time our meal was over I thought it would be hard for the band to create a fab atmosphere as everybody would need a bit of a chill-out before they started partying. They lads really did it! We really felt that nobody else would have been able to play our wedding, our way, make it personal and special, keep everybody happy AND create the brilliant atmosphere they did.

We have since recommended the lads to other couples and they have been over the moon with the choice too.

It was our perfect day topped off by a fantastic evening of music, played by some lovely guys. Thank you so much! xxx

After watching this fantastic band at the Mill House, we instantly knew we wanted this band to play at our wedding. Booked them to play at Jesmond Dene house for our special day, they sang our first dance so acoustically, which made it all the more special for us, but wow they were fantastic, everybody commented on how amazing they were, all song choices were to everyones liking. Didn't want them to end. They were so good we booked them again for my husband 30th party, again they did not disappoint, We would HIGHLY recommend Redwings for any function/party you are having. Can not wait to see you play again at our local.

REDWINGS are a fantastic four piece band that I will no doubt be asking to book for my function again.  Everything from enquiring about a booking, to packing up there equipment is nothing short of a professional standard. These lads have clearly put in bags of effort and practise into creating a very impressive set of songs that will suit guests of all ages. I will guarantee that they will have people up dancing and feet tapping in no time at all! 

I have watched them 3 or 4 times now and everytime there has been new songs added ( which you dont see very often in a band ) So two words to describe this band ........
